Gone In April came to life in 2011, with the release of their debut album, ‘We Are But Human’. With the release of their second album, Threads Of Existence, in 2016, the band continues to unite a diverse palette of metal genres, such as symphonic, death, speed, and goth. The band received praise from the international metal community and performed within North America as well as Asia. We had the opportunity to talk with the violinist and vocalist, Julie Bélanger, and also with the guy behind the drumset, Yanic Bercier.
Behold the Void was formed in 2015 when Daniil Kaverin (vox) met Evgeny Novoseltsev (guitar), Roman Vasilev (guitar), and Artem Kobachevsky (bass). The band started to search for a specific atmosphere and sound they wanted to hear in their music. As a main genre guys picked deathcore, however, the great part of inspiration also came from djent, downtempo deathcore, and black metal.
Hailing from the fertile rock breeding ground of Milan, Italy, Atwood introduced themselves to the local scene with the release of their first single – Black Mirror, which was just the beginning of a storyline. Their debut EP, “at odds”, delivered in November 2018, has been defined as “a seamless blend of pop, alternative rock, synth and electronics and some post-hardcore influences flowing into one melting pot of sound, enriched by alluring vocals”.
Firing All Cylinders represent the explosive sound, excitement, and intensity of heavy metal with influences from the past and present. The group incorporates classic rock n’ roll sound inspired by bands like AC/DC and Black Sabbath. Add a dash of modern metal bands such as KoRn, Avenged Sevenfold, System of a Down, and Slipknot to build the band’s iconic sound. In a short period of time, Firing All Cylinders has rapidly gained success with unique aggressive sounds and performances which became trademark qualities of the group. Elyose is a France-based musical project formed by Ghis M (bass) and Justine Daaé (vocals) back in 2009. They released 4 albums as independent artists in the industrial-alternative-symphonic metal genre. Fans describe them as Epica and Rammstein’s lovechild.
