The Tour To End All Tours

Sabaton (along with Avatar and Dynazty) will return to Budapest on August 20. The concert (which is sold out already) will take place at Barba Negra Budapest.

“I feel ready for a party in Budapest” – opened Joakim our conversation back in 2020. “I know that it’s going crazy here, I like this city. One of the most beautiful cities in Europe and we have a lot of fans here, and tomorrow is a day off which means I am ready for the storm of pálinka is coming my way tonight. (laughs) So yeah, I’m very good now, I think tomorrow morning I will not be so good. If you know what I mean.”

The last time when Sabaton came to Budapest (2020, January), they had a sold-out show at Budapest Arena – check out the photos here:

The new Sabaton album “The War to End All Wars” (which is about the first world war) was released in March. In Hungary, it was available in a special edition with H-Music magazine, and also opened at the number one position on the MAHASZ charts and was in the top ten for weeks.

One of the opening acts will be Avatar, also from Sweden. The heavy metal band was formed in Gothenburg in 2001. The band has released eight studio albums, the most recent is “Hunter Gatherer” from 2020. The band has had some success on US rock radio, notably with their song “New Land“, which peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Songs chart back in May 2017.

The other support act will be the Swedish power-metal band, Dynazty. In July 2021, Dynazty entered the studio to begin recording their eighth studio album, “Final Advent“. The first single, “Advent“, was released on 29 October 2021, followed by “Power of Will” on 3 December 2021. The full album, which is titled “Final Advent” will be released on 26 August 2022.

The show is already sold-out, but don’t give up: check out the official event page, you may be lucky and find tickets for sale!
