    The Hands Resist Him Debut Album “Stone Hands” Out 07/10

    Chicago, IL, July 2, 2019– Chicago Based Sludge Doom band, The Hands Resist Him, has released their new single, “Collapse”, on 7/2 to all streaming platforms. This single will be featured on their debut album “Stone Hands” coming 7/10/19. This is the band’s first release since their “Taker” EP (2018). “Stone Hands” was self-recorded in Chicago, IL between 2018 and 2019. The making of this album took an entire year and pushed of the artists and listeners attention spans. The end goal is to expand people’s perceptions and enjoy the small sounds we take for granted in life. “Stone Hands” plays off of the traditions of doom metal, along with the writings of romantic era poet William Blake.

    The Hands Resist Him is a doom sludge band from Chicago, IL that formed in 2018 by solo artist Eric Mayer. Mayer is in charge of composition and artistic direction and is joined by Alex Mcgady on guitar and Ashwinn Torke on drums. Merchandise such as tapes, t-shirts, and patches will roll out with the release of “Stone Hands.” THRH is currently booking summer 2019 tour dates.
